Glucophage (Metformin) is an oral diabetes medicine that helps control blood sugar levels. Glucophage is for people with type 2 diabetes. Glucophage is sometimes used in combination with insulin or other medications, but it is not for treating type 1 diabetes. Levlen is used for preventing pregnancy. It may be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor. Levlen is a combination birth control pill. It works by preventing ovulation, altering the cervical mucus, and changing the lining of the uterus.

Estrace (Estradiol) is a form of estrogen, a female sex hormone produced by the ovaries. Estrogen is necessary for many processes in the body. Estrace is used to treat symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes, and vaginal dryness, burning, and irritation. Other uses include prevention of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women, and replacement of estrogen in women with ovarian failure.
